Coronavirus update March 24th
We wanted to start putting out fairly regular updates to keep you all up to date with what we are doing here at BKP in response to the coronavirus pandemic. In addition to our continuing measures of increased cleaning, hand-washing, personal distancing and limiting entry from outside to our premises, we have today moved as many staff as possible to home-working, so our sales and social media staff are now running the show from the comfort of their sofas! Every method of contact between us and our customers is still fully open, phones are redirected and emailing and messaging channels are being managed remotely, so we are still, and will continue to be fully contactable for any enquiries. We have also instructed all workshop staff who are in any contact with more vulnerable people, or are simply concerned about coming in, to stay at home and stay safe. So, for the time being, we are running the workshop on the most sparse skeleton crew possible, but we are absolutely still running. We are very lucky to have a spacious workplace which allows for a lot of space between workers and, of course, with a lower staff level, this is being used to its fullest, spreading staff apart as much as possible. Realistically, build times are going to increase over the next few weeks, but we don't forsee anything overly dramatic, as we know that our guys can step up and get your orders fulfilled in good time. We wish all of our customers and friends all the best and will keep you all posted with any further developments. Stay safe!
