Rewinds & Repairs
Our vintage rewinds and modifications are carried out using the highest quality original materials. All rewinds include fitting of new hook up cable where required and are wax potted where appropriate.

Humbuckers
We can rewind or repair passive humbuckers from most manufacturers and keep a full stock of vintage and modern coil wires, hook-up cable and magnets. We also offer an extra range of services specific to Bare Knuckle humbuckers, such as cover and baseplate replacement.

Stratocaster single coils
We can rewind and repair most Strat style single coils, all the way from original vintage examples to modern designs. We keep a full stock of vintage-accurate coil wires, including the 42AWG Heavy Formvar and 42 AWG Plain enamel wires, commonly found on the original '50s and '60s Strats. We use traditional production methods, which allow us to affect repairs which preserve the original feel of your pickup and have years of experience in repairing coils from all manufacturers.

Telecaster single coils
We can rewind and repair most Telecaster style single coils, all the way from original vintage examples to modern designs. We keep a full stock of vintage-accurate coil wires, including the 42 AWG and 43 AWG Plain enamel wires, commonly found on the original '50s Teles. We use traditional production methods, such as traditional string wrapping of coils, which allow us to affect repairs which preserve the original feel of your pickup and have years of experience in repairing coils from all manufacturers. We also offer an extra range of services specific to Bare Knuckle Telecaster coils, such as cover replacement.

Bass Pickups
We can rewind a wide array of bass pickups, including common Jazz and Precision styles and more rare single and multi coil pickups. Please contact us first to discuss repairs of any more uncommon pickup styles.

P90 soapbar or dog-ear
We can rewind and repair most P90 coils and we keep a full stock of vintage and modern coil wires, hook-up cable and magnets.

Mini Humbuckers
We can rewind and repair a wide range of mini humbucker styles, including original Gibson and Hofner pickups, as well as aftermarket models. We keep a full range of vintage and modern coil wire and hook-up cable in stock, to provide repairs which retain the original feel of your pickups.

Wax-potting
Wax potting can help to tame a pickup which has a feedback issue or is microphonic. Our custom blend of waxes creates a long-lasting seal around your coil to provide reliable operation of your pickup.
