Build Your Prewired Guard
In another Bare Knuckle exclusive, we now offer the chance to build your own prewired guard, complete with the Bare Knuckles that work for you and your guitar. Head on over now to the builder to see what you can create!
First things first, choose your pickguard colour. Don't forget to choose the parts colour, which we can age for you, and customise the pickup bobbin colours. You can choose any colour for the neck, bridge and middle, so they can match or be a rainbow mix of '80s colour! Again, many of these can be aged, and we have now added our new pastel bobbins to the builder.
Here we have built a cream pearloid pickguard, not aged, with parchment parts. We put orange bobbins on as a contrast, which works well with the cream tones!
The next step is to choose your pickups. Because we know that everyone has their own idea of their tone, we have given you the option to choose a pickup set, or you can choose your own pickups for each position, bridge, middle and neck. This is where we can help if you need it, with the little "contact" box on the bottom right hand of your screen. Of course, if you know what you want then go ahead and build!
After that point, you will be asked to finalise the details. Again, if magnet profiles, polarity and zinc plated steel base plates twist your melon, then contact us and we will be happy to advise. You will then have a final chance to review the order and make any changes with the "edit" button. Once you are locked in, you will be taken to your basket. Then it's just paying and waiting for us to build it! Don't forget to add expedited shipping if you want us to get going even faster!
Here we have built a fully aged mint green / black / zebra (cream and black bobbins) prewired guard. There are so many choices and options, we recommend putting some time aside and having a good play before deciding on which you prefer. You never know, you may surprise yourself with your preferences!
