Custom Etch Service
We offer a custom etching service for all humbucker covers with our pickups using your own designs.
How it works:
You send in a design, and we convert it into artwork suitable for out laser etching equipment for etching.
On darker pickups the coloured finished is etched away, with lighter covers a coating is applied which will interact with the laser and permanently etch into the metal.
We have a few requirements for an image to etch onto your pickups. If you are unsure of any of the information in this list, just let us know when replying to this email.
Image Quality
We prefer the image quality to be as high as possible and a minimum of 300 DPI.
Colours
Our etches are all black, unless etched onto a black cover where they are a bronze colour. Multiple colour etches are possible, but may incur a further charge. (If you require multiple colours, please say so in your reply to this email and we will be in touch to discuss this option with you.)
Position
Please let us know where you would like the image to be located on the cover and how big you would like it to be.
Shading
We are not able to add shading effects.
Image Type
We prefer vector images where possible, but we can work around this if necessary.
Restrictions
We cannot use any copyright images, logos or symbols without express permission from the owner of the copyright.
We will not etch racist, homophobic or sexist slogans or images.
